Bluecoats Win World Championships
After three nights of stellar performances at the 2024 Drum Corps International World Championships in Indianapolis, the Bluecoats Drum & Bugle Corps have won the title once again. In front of a nearly sold-out crowd, the corps performance of Change Is Everything brought the house down and earned the top spot.
This was the corps’ first undefeated season. Tonight’s world class finals marked the final win in a string of seventeen competitive shows, and a total of twenty-one performances on their 8,000 mile national tour.
Free Day? What About a Free Week?
Recently members of Bluecoats and many other drum corps celebrated the big San Antonio, Texas regional performance with a free day on Sunday. The San Antonio free day has become an iconic part of the modern drum corps landscape. Today, with members of any corps having friends or classmates marching in other corps across the country, the San Antonio free day is that chance to catch up in person.

Bluecoats and EN-RICH-MENT celebrated the completion of their $2m Arts Education Center with a ribbon cutting and joint concert between the EN-RICH-MENT Drumline and the 2024 Bluecoats.

The two Stark County businessmen were recognized for their leadership in the EN-RICH-MENT Arts Education Center project, including donating the resources of their construction and HVAC companies towards the cause.

Jeff McVann & Scott Swaldo Inducted Into 2024 Bluecoats Hall of Fame
We’re pleased to announce the newest inductees to the Bluecoats Hall of Fame: Jeff McVann and Scott Swaldo. Ryan Lott of Son Lux Visits The Bluecoats!
This past weekend Ryan Lott, the founder and band leader of the Oscar-nominated band Son Lux visited the 2024 Bluecoats at their Spring Training home, the University of Mount Union, in Alliance, OH. The visit, planned as a part of the bands two-year artistic residency at Bluecoats, included a masterclass with Ryan for the corps.
