This camp is by invitation only. This camp is mandatory for brass performers with a contract.

If you checked out a horn at the January Camp, please be sure to bring your instrument with you to the March Camp. Horns will be available for check-out after the March Brass Rehearsal Camp. Please remember that if you check out a horn, it’s your responsibility to make sure it gets back to Bluecoats for the April Ful Corps Rehearsal Camp and the beginning of Spring Training.

Housing & Accomodations

Bluecoats provides housing (overnight Friday and Saturday), meals, and ground transportation to students during the March Brass Rehearsal Camp. We recommend eating a meal before you arrive.

You will need to bring sleeping gear (air mattress, sleeping bag w/ ground pad, pillow, blanket, etc.), shower gear (body wash, soap, towel, etc.), light athletic clothing that you can move in easily, and any rehearsal needs.

Airport & Ground Transportation

Ground transportation to/from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) is provided. We are not able to service ground transportation to/from Dallas Love Field (DAL). You are welcome to book travel from DAL, but you will be responsible for getting yourself to and from camp (carpool with someone who’s local, booking a ride share service, etc.).

All pick-ups and drop-offs will occur at the DFW Car Rental Center. For pick-ups, please plan to meet at the main entrance on the lower level, by the loop.

  • Arrival: Shuttle service for arrivals will begin in the afternoon on Friday, March 7th. In order to get you to camp before rehearsal begins at 8:00 PM, plan to arrive no later that 6:30 PM.

    • If arriving after 6:30 PM, we will make every effort to provide shuttle service, but you may arrive to campus after rehearsal begins

  • Departure: Shuttle service for departures will begin at 3:00 PM on Sunday, March 9th. Please book travel after 5:00 PM.

    • If an earlier departure is booked, Bluecoats may be able to provide ground transportation, but understand you may be asked to leave before rehearsal has concluded.

The deadline to submit flight information and request ground transportation is WEDNESDAY, MARCH 5th at 12:00 PM Eastern Time!
